The Falls of Clyde - the Iron Hull

After the assembly of all the parts, both on the Hull centre section, and those for the working Bilge Pump, all is disassembled, degreased and cleaned, in this case a light sandblasting, then attached to copper wires for a dull Nickel Plating.  I chose this finish, as the nearest to the iron used on the actual ships hull.  When all was returned from the electro platers, the parts were reassembled for the last time, and the finished model mounted on a polished mahogany base, with full name plate.
