Hard wood patterns were made to fit the openings for the screen and rear window, these were first wrapped with brass strip, and used as a pattern for the size and shape of the window openings.  The brass strip was then removed and soft soldered into the opening to form the frame. Thin wire was then soft soldered into one side of these, with a second used as a spring clip set into a small groove around the inside of the frames, to secure the glass in place
