1932 P3 Alfa Romeo

Body patterns are carved in pear wood, with some used to make resin forms as matched dies to form the sheet metal between, for the final body parts. The front apron pattern was carved in iron, with a matched resin die used for the top form.  The sheet brass was first provided with the two sets of louvres in the louvre press, then formed between the dies, and then worked with small hammer and shaped punches to crisp up the final shape.
