My first workshop was a bench in the back of a garage, Then a home built lean-to on the back of the garage, which grew into a 12 ft X 12 ft prefabricated extension to the property  When we moved to Lincolnshire, it progressed to the sitting room of one of a row of three cottages, that we later turned into a comfortable home and workshop facility.  In the  progress of this it finally moved into a very spacious converted stable block. The two large benches are modified oak desks with laminate tops and fitted hand tool racks on left and electric tools on the right.
